In the football season of 1960-62 the Texans take the field. Who are the Texans? They came a long ways to call Kansas City home, and were one of the first teams to be involved in the American Football League. Their colors have not changed since the team uniform colors were decided and the logo on the side of their helmets is one of the mostly well known logos.

They are our Kansas City Chiefs. They have been here since the beginning of the NFL and are still one of the most talked about teams,they have had some of the best players in the NFL playing for them.

The Chiefs seemed to have been fighting the good fight for as long as they can remember, and now they are taking on a new fight. They have new attire sporting pink ribbons.

The awareness of Breast Cancer needs to be reached out to every one and the importance of self breast check is even being promoted by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Every time a hat or some item has been sold with that pink ribbon on it, it quietly says, have you checked your breast today? It is so important to get that out to the public, and for the Kansas City Chiefs making that apparent means a lot more to a lot of people than they hoped to reach. And recently they had a 2 time survivor singing the National Anthem for one of their home games.
