Haunted Houses In Kansas City

Haunted Houses, Halloween & Scary Stuff in the KC Metro

The Beast Haunted House in Kansas City

If you want that heart stopping, stealing your breath, oh my goodness gonna pee your pants feeling, than The Beast in Kansas City is for you. The Beast is the largest haunted house in America, and rightly so. This crazy walk through haunted house takes you in the dark eerie fog of The Werewolf Forest.

A quarter of an acre in the dark trying to find the exit, panic sets in, the feeling of being trapped overwhelms you, and your fear alone is imagining objects and sounds that are not there. Just as soon as you calm yourself down and you think it is your mind playing tricks on you, The Beast shows its darker side. Every 30 minutes The Beast lets loose its ferocious werewolves to find the lost souls that have become lost in the fog. Oh did we forget to mention the swamps, those are not logs; The Beast has a sick twist to everything; those are hungry man eating alligators.

And The Beast has not fed them since last Halloween. If you look on you will see the cobblestones of London, but keep a watchful eye open because Jack the Ripper has an eye and a knife on you! On its debut in 1991, this walk through haunted house, a 40 minute journey from start to finish scares most of the bravest people to blubbering madness.

The Edge of Hell

In Kansas City, the streets are calm; the air is still and the sounds of screaming, terrified people in the air. What a wonderful sound it is. The Edge of Hell! The name says it all. Five stories of fear! A huge Anaconda has his eyes on you. There is no vampire slayer here to protect you from the hungry vampires’ lurking around you.

The air is so dry that it crackles and you can feel the electricity going through your fingers. The Edge of Hell has a name to defend, and every year something scarier than before is added to keep you on your toes, or clinging to the walls. There is only one way out, and that is down to the depths of Hell into the arms of the devil. Are you scared?

There is always Trick – or – Treating! The Edge of Hell opened in 1975 and is now known nationally as being one of the scariest haunted houses in Kansas City and its surrounding areas. If you have ever wanted to dance with the devil, now is your chance!
