Description: A perennial favorite with kids and parents alike, Jazz Storytelling
explores a different topic twice a month. Professional storyteller Brother
John, vocalist Lisa Henry, and Kansas City jazz musicians weave elements of
jazz into interactive and fun stories and songs, introducing children ages
2-7 to the sights and sounds of music. During this session, find out how Ella
Fitzgerald got her start and recorded a tune that became one of America's most
loved songs.

Description: One of the world’s fastest growing sports, cutting offers
tremendous excitement and drama for horse, rider and spectators alike. The
competition consists of horse and rider separating a particular cow from a
herd. The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) provides the means by which
contests are judged by maintaining a point system which gives definite credits
and penalties while providing a fair basis for judging cutting horses and their
riders.
